Indy Do Day 2016 - September 29, 30 and October 1st
Have you heard about the city's largest service project, Indy Do Day? Rotary Club of Indianapolis plans to have 20,000 Hoosiers working on 200 service projects around Indianapolis over the club's 3 day event, Indy Do Day (September 29,30, and October 1). We are connecting individuals, groups, and corporations to work on projects at non-profit organizations all around the city. We want to highlight the good and inspire other Hoosiers to get involved. Our "someday goal" is to have 100,000 volunteers! Wouldn't that be great!?
As a corporation or individual, you can help by getting a group to volunteer and choosing from one of the jobs already posted online. If you volunteer at a non-profit regularly, plan a project at that organization over Indy Do Day and simply fill out the "What Will You Do" form online to tell us about it.
As a non-profit organization, you can get involved by telling us your needs! Post a project online to get volunteers over the 3 day event. Our committed Rotarians are here to help with creating, posting, and helping with implementation during Indy Do Day.
Several large corporations and non-profits are getting involved. We would like to tell others how you and your company share in the Hoosier hospitality that is known throughout the country. Help us make Indianapolis the most civically engaged city in the US! Visit www.IndyDoDay.org to get involved or contact me right away for more details.
Also, who else needs to know about Indy Do Day? Tell them about it by sharing!
