Home sales in Central Indiana as of 11/30/09

Five out of 9 central Indiana counties reported increased in home sales in November, 2009 compared to the same time last year.  Shelby County had the largest increase of 54.2% followed by Johnson County at 32.7% and Boone County at 9.3%.

Year to date, home sales are still down 1.8% compared to 2008.  Traditionally, this is a slow seasonal time for real estate sales, but the first time homebuyer credit extension has kept activity at a steady rate.
